How does pallet stacker perform stacking and destacking?

Pallet stacker perform stacking and destacking operations through the use of hydraulic systems or electrically powered mechanisms. The specific method may vary depending on the type and design of the pallet stacker. Here's an overview of how these processes are typically carried out:
Stacking:
When stacking pallets, the pallet stacker lifts a loaded pallet and places it on top of another pallet, creating a stack of pallets. The process generally involves the following steps:
Positioning: The operator positions the pallet stacker in front of the pallet to be lifted and stacked. The forks or platform of the stacker are typically inserted underneath the pallet.
Lifting: The hydraulic or electric lifting mechanism of the stacker is activated, raising the forks or platform along with the loaded pallet off the ground. The stacker continues to lift until the pallet reaches the desired height.
Stacking: Once the first pallet is lifted, the operator can move the stacker forward to align it with the intended stacking location. The stacker then lowers the lifted pallet onto the top of the target pallet, creating a stack. Depending on the design of the stacker, it might also include features such as side shifters to ensure accurate alignment during stacking.
Repeat: The process is repeated for additional pallets to create a stack of multiple pallets, if necessary.

Destacking:
Destacking, also known as depalletizing or destacking, involves retrieving pallets from a stack. This process is especially useful for accessing goods stored at higher levels or for unloading pallets from a stack. The steps involved in destacking are similar to stacking but in reverse:
Positioning: The operator positions the stacker in front of the stack of pallets from which a pallet needs to be retrieved. The forks or platform of the stacker are typically positioned underneath the pallet to be removed.
Lifting: The hydraulic or electric lifting mechanism is activated, raising the forks or platform along with the targeted pallet.
Destacking: Once the pallet is lifted, the operator can move the stacker backward to clear the space for the lifted pallet to be removed. This creates a gap in the stack.
Lowering: The operator lowers the lifted pallet to the ground or to a desired height for unloading or further transportation.
Repeat: The process can be repeated for each pallet that needs to be destacked from the stack.
